Breast FeedThis is a very common question for us.  The answer starts with another question, “Are you able to breast feed now?”

For women who have not had children yet this remains an unknown.  Some women for a variety of reasons are unable to breast feed.

For women who desire breast augmentation with breast implants that have been able to breast feed in the past, the answer is that they likely will be able to breast feed in the future.  It is not a complete guarantee, but most don’t have an issue.  If there is a change in sensation to the nipple, more likely with larger implants, there could be an alteration in ability to breast feed.

Studies with implants have shown that there are not silicone particles or harmful elements in the milk either.
